Meet The Closers Return
Musicians in The Highland Troupe mix and match into different bands for each event. Members and sometimes swap out. Therefore, this lineup may be different from the group performing live.

Silas Shaw
Bass Guitar and Vocals
Silas took up playing bass after starting the Highland Troupe in 2021. His musical instrument career started in college at Rice University in Houston, Texas, where he attended on a Track Scholarship. He and some of his classmates began playing bluegrass and early American dance music. This resulted in him learning to play guitar, mandolin, and banjo. Silas has been a singer since the second grade, and after moving to Colorado, he has sung with the Colorado Springs Chorale and is a supporting member of the Pikes Peak Opera League.

Tim TJ Jinkins
Percussion and Vocals
TJ is not a stranger to the Colorado music scene. He's been a lead singer in several front-range bands and sings both lead and harmony for the Closers Return. Hailing from the East Coast, he spent nearly two decades performing from Boston to Virginia at many of the top venues, including CBGBs in New York City. In the late 90's, he teamed up with a songwriter from Los Angeles to write and record original rock music that was performed by the band they started at notable venues including the Whisky A Go Go, Roxy, and the Viper Room.

Matt Campbell
Lead Guitar
Matt hails from Colorado Springs. He has a natural gift for guitar playing and has been working on his craft for 25 years, learning hundreds of songs, riffs, and solos. By day, he works as a financial planner and uses his love of tennis to keep himself in shape for work and to play music at night. His family is his number one priority and motivation. Matt is one of those rare people who excels at everything he chooses to do through smart planning, family dedication, and love of music.

Bobby Swift
Lead Singer
Graduating with honors and a music degree, Bobby excels in guiding the band to refine the music in rehearsals. He is gifted with perfect pitch and gives the guitar players the notes they can tune to. Bobby creates special sounds and music recordings that can be incorporated into performances and private events. He performs mainly with the Closers Return and contributes to other bands and special projects in the Highland Troupe.

I would highly recommend this group. This troupe has layers of talent to fit your needs. The Neerly Brothers played great soft music for the dinner portion of our corporate function, then dance music from the Closers Return. All great dancing songs! The tunes were spot on and Bobby had an amazing voice. I would highly recommend The Highland Troupe.

We hired them for a neighborhood event and we had the best time! So many people were raving about how great the band was. The song selection was just what we needed and their energy was felt by all! We hope to have them back!

The group performed great and were very friendly! There were times during our event where we needed to make announcements, and they were willing to accommodate. They communicated the entire night about how the volume was to ensure our party guests were comfortable...

Great communication before, during and after our Corporate event. They were very accommodating for the space and style of music we were looking for. I would definitely book them again!
